Committed to Diversified Excellence for Over Three Decades

Our Legacy

Mozambique Holdings was established by Jose Parayanken in Mozambique in 1991. Since then, he helmed the organization as its chairman and managing director and helped it grow into what it is today — one of the largest Indian-owned business houses in Mozambique with a turnover of over USD100mn in 2020. With a workforce of over 1000 and over 200 expatriates, the organization runs a diverse range of industrial ventures, such as:

Transport and automobile division

Production and distribution of military and police uniforms

Pharmaceutical manufacturing and national distribution

Groundwater development and irrigation systems

Toll road construction and maintenance

Mining, including prospecting and exploration of mining concessions in coal, phosphates, and gold

We aim to become an integral part of Mozambique’s self-sustaining development story.

To achieve this goal, our mission is to create and invest in local companies in all critical sectors in Mozambique.
